April 7 -
25: We will observe an expanded schedule during the Spring
Blooming Season and offer plants for sale also. Hours are Mon-Sat
10:00 a.m. - 5 p.m. and Sunday 1 - 5 p.m.
April 22:
In honor of Earth Day - no admission charge for
grounds tours
- come and enjoy a day of nature on the beautiful grounds of Chinqua
Penn Plantation.
May 7:
Every Wednesday in May, free entertainment 6 - 8:30 p.m. on the grounds.
Guests are invited to bring their lawn chairs and picnics. Chinqua
Penn wine, soft drinks and bottled water available for sale.

charge for Mom's admission when accompanied by 1 paying adult, from 1 -
4 p.m.
June 8: Charlie Poole Festival
Preview Party, 1 - 4 p.m. - Jamming by old time bluegrass musicians on
the grounds, outdoor wine tastings and wine for sale, bring your lawn
chair and picnic! No charge for grounds admission, House will be
open for tours (regular admission applies).
June 15: Father's Day - no charge
for Dad's admission when accompanied by 1 paying adult, 1 - 4 p.m.
July: Rockingham County
Residents Month - Show your Rockingham County drivers license and
receive free Grounds Only Admission OR $10 House Tour Admission
during regularly scheduled tour hours. Applies to individuals only.
August:
Wine
Month - drop by the wine room anytime this month for a tasting during
regular wine tasting room hours and receive $5 off coupon redeemable for
house tour admission on date of your choice.
