Mothers can tour the English countryside mansion when accompanied by a paying adult.
Chinqua Penn is a 27-room mansion built in the 1920s by tobacco businessman and farmer Thomas “Jeff” and his wife, Beatrice “Betsy” Penn. Surrounded by 22 acres of gardens and historic landscaping, the home is filled with artwork and elaborate furnishings from 30 countries. The site is also on the National Register of Historic Places.
Chinqua Penn Plantation house tour admission is $20 for adults,$15 for seniors/students with a college ID, $10 youth age 6-15, age five and under are free.
