Chinqua Penn Plantation for the Holidays
The Christmas celebration begins November 24, 2007 and runs through December 31, 2007. Visitors can experience the splendor of this 27-room English-country manor filled with the radiance of the season. Our holiday exhibition includes many of the icons and tapestries, china and crystal, ornaments and holiday arrangements that recall Mrs. Penn's taste in holiday finery. A bank of poinsettias and soft candlelight fill the breakfast room. Holiday garlands adorn the library. Musical entertainment, luminaries, a visit by Santa as well as Betsy and Jeff Penn in period costume, will take place on varying schedules throughout the season.

Christmas reigns throughout this grand country estate! Visitors will experience the spirit of the holiday season during our Candlelight Tour evenings. Stepping inside the abundance of the holiday surrounds you. Candlelight and carols, wreaths and boughs of holly, poinsettias and Christmas trees, and all the scents of the seasons. Chinqua Penn delights in re-creating a tour long to be remembered. As the music fills the air, rekindling the Christmas experience as it once was.
